A new season of the ADIB Future Champions League is getting underway.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank has been supporting youth football since inception in the UAE and from 2012 via the Future Champions League initiative.
The the Future Champions League provides grassroots football to children between the ages of 10 and 14 and is open to schools and academies from all of the 7 Emirates. Since the tournament’s humble beginnings, over 13,000 UAE-based children have participated in the events.
The 2020 season is now upon us and this season promises to be bigger than ever with an estimated 3000 children due to take part.
Supporters are invited to join at Zayed Sport City on Saturday 9th November, for the first qualifying tournament as the quest to search for the UAE’s Future Champions begins.
The day promises to be full of football action, with first matches kicking off at 9am all the way through until 3pm.
Schools from across Abu Dhabi such as Al Dhafra Private School, ADNOC School, Cambridge School, The Australian School of Abu Dhabi and many more will be participating.
