du Football Champions (duFC), home of the UAE’s official Schools and Streets Cup in partnership with LaLiga, has announced the kick-off of
its fifth season.
Following a successful fourth campaign, the Cups are conducted at a national level and played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The Championship is open to boys and girls aged 10-18 and will pave the way for youth to cultivate their sporting talents, by enabling them to participate either through their school, or together with their friends.
The opening week of du Football Champions in the Northern Emirates saw a host of young footballers pushing the limits to not only secure their place in the next round of the competition, but to also catch the eyes of LaLiga’s scouts who are looking for the best players across the UAE.
These top talents will be invited for trials that may land them a place at the prestigious du LaLiga High Performance Centre and the chance to
pursue professional football careers.
Commenting on the much anticipated kick-off, Maite Ventura, Managing Director of LaLiga – MENA said: “du Football Champions has recorded significant advancements over the last 4 years that have been successful in providing the du LaLiga High Performance Center with
unmitigated success over the last few years.”

career at the highest possible level.”
Scouted players will subsequently be invited for trials for the opportunity to secure a professional football contract with a professional club through the prestigious du LaLiga High Performance Centre.
