England will be firm favourites to get back to winning ways and keep alive their outside hopes of lifting the Six Nations title as they face a Scotland side which has lost its' first three games, including one against Italy.

Gavin Rixon of Heartbeat Tigers believes the team can't be complacent against their neighbours.

    – England full-back Mike Brown will put it all on the line against Scotland

"We can't be complacent against the Scots, they’ll play with passion and it’s the Calcutta Cup so there’s still everything to play for,” said Rixon.

“I think England have got to wear them down and spin it out wide.”

England have Harlequins full-back Mike Brown back in their side while Northampton lock Courtney Lawes also regains his place in the second row.

A lot of talk this week has been around Steffon Armitage. Gavin believes the RFU need to change their ways and get the burly Toulon flanker back to England before France come calling.

“Why not RFU change your ways and allow Armitage come back to England and don’t allow the French take hold of him. He’s too good a player to lose. What an awesome back row it would be to have Armitage and Robshaw.

“Robshaw’s work rate is absolutely massive,” he added.

Gavin’s not predicting a point’s fest, but believes England will win by 10.

Meanwhile, Scotland head coach Vern Cotter announced five changes to his team for their game at Twickenham.

David Denton, Dougie Fife, Matt Scott, Jim Hamilton and Finn Russell all return for Scotland, who are desperate for victory in the Calcutta Cup following successive losses to France, Wales and Italy.

Dougie Horne of Dubai Exiles believes the Scots need to cut out mistakes and be more disciplined.

“We need to look at our mistakes, and cut out our errors that make other teams take advantage of us.”

“Scotland do have a good defensive line, but it will be about slowing the ball down and making it difficult.”

“Stuart Hogg will be our key man. He’s beaten the most defenders in the competition so far.”

“From an England perspective, George Ford and Billy Vunipola will be devastating.”

Dougie believes England will win, but if they keep it to 10 points, he’ll be happy.
