WAC, UAE Conference and Community Leagues return to action

    UAE Rugby and West Asia Rugby’s West Asia Championship (WAC) continues this Friday, January 15th, with games being played across the Gulf in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain.

    Friday’s WAC match-ups see Abu Dhabi Saracens play Doha at the Al Ghazal ground, Dubai Hurricanes face Muscat at Dubai’s Sevens complex, Jebel Ali Dragons play Al Ain Amblers at Dubai Sports City, with Dubai Exiles travelling to Bahrain to compete against the hosts.

    After last Friday’s 1st round Dubai Exiles and Doha sit on top of the ladder with 5-points each, followed by Bahrain (4 points) then Abu Dhabi Saracens and Al Ain Amblers both with 1-point.

    All of Friday’s games kick-off at 5pm local time.

    Muscat, Dubai Hurricanes and Jebel Ali Dragons are yet to open their accounts, with Hurricanes and Dragons to play their first WAC fixtures this weekend.

    UAE Rugby’s Conference and Community divisions re-commence their leagues with games being played across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain, also on Friday.
