1) KEVIN GAMEIRO (Sevilla) – 8.57
A rampant Sevilla blew Getafe apart with a comfortable 5-0 victory on Saturday night. Key to Los Rojiblancos charge was Kevin Gameiro who contributed a hat-trick inside 60 minutes. His third goal was a gem. An inswinging free-kick met the Frenchman and he finished convincingly to send the home side into 8th place in La Liga.

2) LUIS SUAREZ (Barcelona) – 8.04
With Lionel Messi sidelined due to injury, chief lieutenants such as Neymar and Luis Suarez have stepped up to inflict most of the damage for Barcelona in the Argentines absence. And it would prove to be no different against Eibar on Sunday as man-of-the-match Suarez scored a magnificent hat-trick with Neymar assisting two in their 3-1 victory.

3) ARITZ ADURIZ (Athletic Bilbao) – 7.95
Veteran striker Aduriz continued his superb form this season scoring two goals in Athletic Bilbao’s comprehensive 3-0 win over Sporting Gijon. The pick of his strikes was a coolly slotted effort on 67 minutes after collecting a cleverly weighed pass from Benat.

4) KEYLOR NAVAS (Real Madrid) – 7.58
Since widespread speculation over David De Gea’s ‘proposed’ move to Madrid, goalkeeper Navas has been in scintillating form in the Los Blancos No1 jersey. Against Celta Vigo at the weekend, Navas pulled off a string of superb saves from Fabian Orellana, Iago Aspas and a belter from Hernandez.
Remarkably, the Costa Rican has only conceded three goals in nine league goals, having faced more shots (113) than any keeper in Europe’s big five leagues.

5) EVER BANEGA (Sevilla) – 7.41
With hat-trick hero Gameiro grabbing most of the headlines for Sevilla, Ever Banega was also a thorn in their triumph over Getafe. He netted from a 50th minute penalty and assisted Gameiro’s second goal.
1 – Ever Banega has both scored and assisted in a single game for the first time for @SevillaFC (all competitions). Star.
