    1. MARIO (Villarreal) – 7.17

    Spanish international Mario registered the first goal and teed up Cedric Bakambu for the winner as Villarreal beat Sevilla 2-1 at Estadio El Madrigal. Despite their poor start to the La Liga season, Mario gave the home side a morale-boosting win thanks to his close range finish on 25 minutes. He played a hand in providing top scorer Bakambu for the second just after half-time.

    2. IAGO ASPAS (Celta Vigo) – 7.05

    Aspas scored a brace of coolly slotted goals to inspire Celta Vigo to victory at Real Sociedad. The win sees Celta leapfrog Atletico Madrid and move within three points of leaders Barcelona and Real Madrid. Aspas’ second goal was a gem. On 56 minutes, he met Daniel Wass’s cross with a ferocious header to draw the sides’ level at a time when Os Celestes looked under pressure.

    3. AGIRRETXE (Real Sociedad) – 7.04

    The Spaniard found the net twice at Estadio Anoeta as Real Sociedad lost 3-2 against Celta Vigo. He gave his side the early lead after stabbing in David Zurutuza’s cross, and then on 26 minutes converted Berchiche’s pass with a composed finish.

    4. NEYMAR (Barcelona) – 6.95

    Brazilian striker Neymar registered his ninth goal in just 10 games for Barcelona with an exceptional volley as the Catalans snapped another three points in La Liga thanks to a 2-1 victory at Getafe.

    5. SERGIO ROBERTO (Barcelona) – 6.95

    The young defender continues to capture the imagination of the Barcelona fans. On Saturday against Getafe, he looked a menacing presence going forward and assisted goals for Neymar and Luis Suarez.
