The Clark Francis Tennis academy is kicking off its new season with a full range of programmes available to everyone interested in the sport.
With venues all over Dubai, residents of the emirate can fulfil their tennis needs, be it tweaking a backhand, empowering a serve or learning how to add spin to their forehand.
CF Tennis – an affiliate of Tennis Emirates, the governing body of tennis in the UAE – is headquartered in the Aviation Club in Garhoud which is home to the famous Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
You can play on the same courts on which world No1’s Novak Djokovic and Caroline Wozniacki played and won the titles earlier this year and try to follow in their legendary footsteps.
If you are a fan of the sport as much as you are a competitor then you may get the chance of a lifetime if you sign up for the CF Tennis Adult League, available for men and women at all levels where the lucky winners can get tickets to next year’s US Open.
Get your competitive hat on and you might experience Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York next season.
If you feel you have a champion in the making you might fancy signing up your child to the CF Tennis Junior Series Event.
With age categories 11’s, 12’s, 14’s and 16’s your child could win an all-expenses paid trip to Paris to watch the French Open at Roland Garros.
You can also introduce your little ones to the sport with the Indoor Mini Tennis Programme which is available for children as young as four years old, and offers lessons in a controlled environment where your kids can be tucked away from Dubai’s warm climate. These sessions will be available in Jumeirah, Al Barsha and Emirates Hills.
Ladies Mornings are conducted daily from 8:30am at many of the venues covering tactics, technique and high intensity drills, all for only Dh50.
You also have the choice between private and group lessons and CF Tennis promise you a ticket to a better game.
