  • Sporty feel: Flags, jerseys, boots, balls, trophies and other memorabilia are scattered around Nezesaussi.

The quarter-finals of the World Cup will see the eight best teams on the planet face-off for a spot in the last four, and where better to take in the action than at Nezesaussi Grill.

Located on the lobby level of Al Manzil Hotel, Dubai, the bar and grill has been providing a community feel synonymous with its name since opening six years ago.

The name 'Nezesaussi' is a combination of New Zealand (Nez), South Africa (ES), and Australia (Aussi), representing regions known for their love of rugby.

During the Six Nations Championship, Nezesaussi is the premier spot to visit to watch the teams battle with a central bar shaped like a rugby ball.

The excitement and turnout has been no different during the World Cup.

With 23 televisions located around the restaurant, including those inside the washrooms, Nezesaussi truly provides an omni-present viewing experience.

After their refurbishment, they’ll add even more with two giant projector screens.

The dining capacity is 144, but during big sporting events the site is filled with guests who can huddle around bar barrels used as impromptu tables.

Flags, jerseys, boots, balls, trophies and other memorabilia are scattered around the interior, giving Nezesaussi a proper sports feel, while the open cooking station adds a dash of modern style.

Beverages and meats on the grill are sourced exclusively from the Nezesaussi countries with bucket deals on the most popular drinks.

The Ladies Night every Tuesday has a unique twist on the promotion, with women spending Dh50 or more on beverages receiving a complimentary meal.

The food menu features delectable favourites such as the Nezesaussi Platter – consisting of fried calamari, chicken wings, biltong and boerewors spring rolls – and a variety of Australian beef, as well as high-quality pub grub.

The restaurant is open daily up to 02:00.

With premiere match-ups like Brazil versus Colombia and Germany versus France upcoming, Nezesaussi is the perfect place to see the best teams in the World Cup fight for ultimate glory.
