Al Jazira have completed a $10m (Dhs36.7m) deal for River Plate's highly-rated playmaker Manuel Lanzini as a direct replacement for Abdelaziz Barrada.
Moroccan international Barrada is set to spend the upcoming season on-loan at Ligue 1 side Marseille following an impressive debut season in the UAE that yielded 15 goals and 16 assists in all competitions.
Al Jazira fans may be a little concerned that their star midfielder has left to be replaced by a relatively unknown – albeit highly-rated – 21-year-old from Argentina.
