  • Adil Rashid was one of the best bowlers in the recent Big Bash.

A veteran of 86 ODI’s, there are few men better equipped to analyse the current crop of England players than Michael Vaughan.

The former England skipper told Sport360 that although England’s good form in T20 cricket deserves credit, he is unsure that they will be able to go all the way in this World T20.

“For the first time in many tournaments, England have arrived with expectation,” he told Sport360. “There has been a revelation in terms of the backroom team and a revelation in terms of personnel on the pitch.

“I just wonder whether they have enough experience to win the tournament. Are they going to be too reliant on just one player?”

If England were to rely on one player, Vaughan made it very clear that that player would be Adil Rashid.

“He (Rashid) is the kind of bowler that you look at and think ‘mystery’.  The way his googly is very difficult to pick.

“Rashid is going to have to have a fantastic tournament.”
