“It was an obvious choice,” Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel said of the club’s decision to turn to Jose Mourinho after three struggling years following the retirement of Alex Ferguson.
“It was a good choice. He is an experienced Premier League manager. He’s an experienced winner. He’s had his way of winning, but he’s also very very humble to the fact that he got offered the Manchester United job, which in his consideration is the biggest job in the world.”
