  • Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho was left to curse the defensive gifts his side handed out in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at bottom club Norwich.

The draw against Norwich saw Tottenham slide down to sixth in the Premier League table with Manchester United going above them with a win at Burnley.

Mourinho’s men twice fell behind to Norwich in the clash but were bailed out by a free-kick by Christian Eriksen and a second-half penalty by skipper Harry Kane.

The visitors could have been 2-0 behind in the clash when Teemu Pukki put the ball into the back of the net. However, the Norwich striker was controversially adjudged to have been off-side in the build-up by VAR.

While his team ended the match on the front foot, Mourinho was disappointed to walk away with just a point and rued the defensive lapses.
