Manchester United had zero shots on target in their FA Cup third-round clash away to Wolves, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come out to defend the display.
Wolves had a goal disallowed for handball while Raul Jiminez struck the cross-bar with the game ultimately finishing in a 0-0 stalemate. Man United were pushed on the back foot for the majority of the second half with the hosts pushing hard for a winner.
The tie will now go into a replay at Old Trafford in two weeks’ time and Solskjaer is taking that as a positive.
The visitors had their chances at the Molineux in the first period with Marcus Rashford’s deflected shot bouncing off the cross-bar.
See what the Manchester United boss had to say about his side’s lack of shots on target in the video posted above.
