  • A sombre moment before the match at the Ajax Arena with visitors Cambuur – both teams coming together to remember the events in Paris.

There was an understandably flat feeling early on, but the hosts lifted the crowd as they took the lead after 25 minutes – Joel Veltman heading in from a well worked corner.

The visitors were soon level – Sander Van de Streek with a shock equaliser for the team second from bottom of the league.

Yet just two minutes later they were undone, and it came once again from a corner.

    Arkadiusz Milik climbing the highest.

Ajax were now full of confidence and added another nine minutes later – Davy Klaassen heading home Kenny Tete's cross.

Its fair to say Cambuur were not coping well with balls into the penalty area – or indeed corners – as Ajax scored from another before the break.

Klaassen with this second of the match after the visitors failed to clear, making it 4-1.

The second half was a marginal improvement for the team from Leeuwarden, but they still conceded.

Amin Younes with an emphatic finish for the hosts.

It ended 5-1 with Ajax hardly getting out of second gear.
