  • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said on Monday (23rd November) that he is unhappy with UEFA's doping rules – and threw his support behind beleaguered Real Madrid head coach Rafa Benitez.

The claim comes after Dynamo Kiev player Arijan Ademi was recently banned for doping, afer failing a post-match drug test after their 2-1 win over Arsenal on September, 16.

The long-serving manager wasn't impressed that the Ukraine side retained all their points without punishment, despite the player being involved in fixtures this season, as well as playing the full 90 minutes against Wenger's side.

Wenger states "it's a surprising rule", but concedes it's a rule that managers and players have to accept. Before adding "we have to look at ourselves and deal with our own performance."
