American franchise New York Cosmos are in the UAE for a two week winter training camp and recently took on Arabian Gulf League side Al Shabab in a friendly match.
Al Shabab, second in the league table, proved they were more than a match for the visiting New Yorkers and despite an understrength side due to the international break, defeated the Cosmos 1-0. Edgar's tidy finish proving to be the difference between the two sides.
