Unai Emery played down suggestions Arsenal needed Mesut Ozil after their 1-0 Europa League defeat to BATE Borisov in the first leg of their round of 32 tie on Thursday.
The Spaniard insisted that the players he selected had deserved to win the match.
“Today those that were here, we can win with them and we deserved that,” said the Gunners’ boss.
“Last week we won and we played with the same players. For me today there was no difference to the performance.”
