Andre Gomes sustained a nasty injury in the clash against Tottenham, however, Everton boss Marco Silva has backed the midfielder to return as an even stronger player.
Gomes suffered a horrific dislocation of his ankle after a tackle by Son Heung-Min in the 1-1 draw with Everton confirming that the Portuguese will undergo surgery on Monday.
The Merseyside club has vowed all possible assistance to the former Barcelona man as he prepares for a lengthy spell on the injury table.
