World F1 champion Lewis Hamilton warmed up for this weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix with a sparring session from one of the country’s legendary boxers – multiple world champion Julio Cesar Chavez.
Hamilton looked in good shape as he was put through his paces in the ring by the Mexican hero, seemingly brushing off the fallout from his social media activity last week – where he appeared ready to ‘give up’.
Hamilton needs to finish the race weekend 14 points clear of team-mate Valtteri Bottas at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez if he is to secure a sixth world drivers’ championship.
