Ryan Giggs has seen many great nights as part of an illustrious career with Manchester United but the one on Tuesday with Wales in Cardiff is right up there for the former winger.
The Wales boss saw his side take the final automatic qualification berth for Euro 2020 with a 2-0 win over Hungry at Cardiff City Stadium.
A brace from Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey sent Wales through in a must-win clash. The victory helped Wales finish second behind Croatia in Group E of the qualifier with Giggs’ men registering four wins, two draws and as many losses in their eight matches.
They pipped Slovakia to second place by one points while Hungary’s loss consigned them to the fourth spot in the group.
