  • Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri reflects on a “landmark” 2015 and expresses his ambition to take his game to the next level in the year ahead.

Speaking to Golfing Indian, Lahiri says that despite their being many positives to take from the past 12 months, there are a number of things he is disappointed with as shown in the video below.

“Even though it’s been a landmark year so far, there have been ups and downs,” said Lahiri.

“There were a number of events, a number of moments that I’d like to have back and redo, but that’s golf. You learn more from the bad results and the times you come up short.”

As for 2016, Lahiri says that he has had “no off-season” after playing tournaments in December and more planned in January.

Despite that lack of a break, Lahiri hopes to put even more hours in on the driving range to improve even further next year.

“This year I haven’t had that off-season since the middle of January,” he explained.

“What effort you put into your game bears fruit and this year, honestly speaking, I haven’t been able to put that much effort in technically.”
