Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp denied on Friday that the impressive recent form of midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had given him selection problems.
“If good games of players would give me a headache then my life would be really sad,” he said.
Oxlade-Chamberlain scored twice in the midweek Champions League victory against Belgian side Gent on Wednesday – drawing particular praise from his manager for the quality of his second goal.
“The second one, I didn’t see one like this for a long, long time, if ever because it really was a very special moment.”
