Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has declared Virgil van Dijk should win the 2019 Ballon d’Or, even though Lionel Messi is “the best player of all”.
Van Dijk, 28, is one of seven Reds stars on the 30-man shortlist for the prestigious award.
