  • The defensive powerhouse, who is widely considered as the best left-back of all time after a stellar career with the Spanish giants, signed autographs, posed for photos and chatted to Whites supporters in a two-hour session at the venue, situated at The Beach on JBR.

Carlos spent 11 seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, playing 584 matches in all competitions and scoring 71 goals (many of them long-range free kicks) – as well as winning four La Liga crowns and three UEFA Champions League titles.

The 43-year-old, who also won 125 caps for Brazil and was part of the World Cup-winning team in 2002, is currently working at Real in a coaching and ambassadorial role – following in the footsteps of his great team-mate and friend Zinedine Zidane, the current boss of Madrid.

In an in-depth interview to follow soon on Sport360, Carlos discusses Zidane’s reign in charge so far, looks ahead to the club’s Champions League final against Atletico Madrid and discusses Cristiano Ronaldo.
