Zinedine Zidane insists it is “just a start” after Real Madrid beat Osasuna 2-0 to record back-to-back La Liga victories.
Zidane was in a relaxed mood after the game on Wednesday, a result that sent Los Blancos top of the table. It was a marked contrast to the mood in the camp a week earlier, when questions were asked about Zidane’s future at the club after their Champions League drubbing at Paris Saint-Germain.
Asked how much has changed in a week, Zidane said: “Well, what has changed? Well, we have always believed in what he do. We have had tranquillity, hard work and with those things you can achieve a lot.
“But now for us – well, it is just a start. We were not that bad. And now, we are not that good. We just need to keep working, continue along the same lines with this dynamic.
“We played a good game in Seville. Tonight, again, intensity, aggression and when we had to defend, we defended. And offensively we know that we can do many good things.”
