  • The England rugby team trained in central London on Thursday as they continued their preparations to face Wales next week in the Six Nations.

Eddie Jones’ men are unbeaten after two matches in the tournament and go into the Wales game off the back of a 44-8 thrashing of France at Twickenham last Sunday, when winger Jonny May scored a hat-trick of tries.

Their next match in Cardiff on February 23 is being billed as a championship decider with Wales also unbeaten following two opening victories, although Warren Gatland’s side have been unconvincing against France and Italy.

The injured duo of co-captain Dylan Hartley and lock Maro Itoje were present at Thursday’s training session for the Red Rose, both doing light work on the sidelines as they continue their rehabilitation from knee injuries.
