Hailing from the Basque Country, Aritz Aranburu is the finest surfer Spain has ever produced. A former European champion, he became the first person from his country to qualify for Surfing’s World Championship Tour in 2008. The 29-year-old has gone on to distinguish himself on the competition scene, and also as something of a ‘surf explorer’.
