Tunisian swimmer Sarra Lajnef has called on Arabic swimming federations to encourage female swimmers to stay in the sport after being disappointed by the lack of swimmers from the region who compete competitively.
The 24-year-old is often the sole Arab representative at meets and believes more should be done by the decision makers to secure the future of the sport in Arab countries.
Lajnef was speaking to Sport360's Reem Abulleil after competing at the FINA Swimming World Cup leg at Dubai's Hamdan Sports Complex.
