The Undertaker had everyone in the WWE Universe talking after his return on SmackDown LIVE 900, and Cathy Kelley looks at what one Raw Superstar had to say about his Survivor Series comments.
The Deadman has been absent since beating Shane McMahon at this year’s WrestleMania and reportedly underwent a hip operation just a couple of months ago.
But he is back and, according to Taker, he is here to stay.
What did you make of his return and his threats to the rest of the SmackDown Live roster?
Eric Bischoff and Nick Hausman start the show off by talking about a few of the top pro wrestling stories this week.
That includes Linda McMahon being rumored for WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump’s cabinet once he assumes the Presidency.
The team also discuss Conor McGregor’s UFC 205 win and WWE’s interest in him and Vader’s recent news that he says he has less than two years to live.
Bischoff then welcomes former WWE performer/producer and the host of Something To Wrestle With’s Bruce Prichardon to the show.
They talk about their strong friendship in the wake of their intense competition during the Monday Night War, as well as their memories of Brian Pillman and the controversial story he was telling that weaved WCW, WWE and ECW together.
Following his historic UFC efforts, Conor McGregor seems to have found quite an impact on the WWE scene as well, with Triple H extending him with an invitation to join the ranks.
McGregor caused quite a stir in the WWE earlier this year, hitting out at a number of Superstars in the locker room.
It was not seen as a pre-determined work and rumours stated that WWE officials instructed their wrestlers to not respond.
That was believed to be in the hope that the most marketable man in MMA would one day step across the divide and bring his salesmanship to the WWE.
Would you like to see McGregor in the WWE or is this just pure fantasy?
