Swimming
Offering an array of disciplines for individuals, families and teams, swimmers as young as eight are eligible to cover distances dependent on age and ability.
This iteration will run in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi leg of the FINA/HOSA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup, where casual swimmers can see professional assemble within the Emirates Palace Bay.
Previous editions saw South African Olympian Chad le Clos and the UAE’s first female swimmer, Nada Al Bedwawi take the centre stage while this year Sweden’s sprint butterfly and freestyle specialist Sarah Sjostrom, who earned gold in Rio 2016, is an Abu Dhabi Swimming Festival ambassador.
