Cricket is one of the most-watched and most actively participated games in the UAE and Abu Dhabi Cricket Club (ADDC) is proud to be at the heart of it. With over 500 amateur matches played at the Zayed Stadium and ADCC grounds this season, we are confident that we can build on that success in future years.
Apart from hosting several international matches in the last 12 months, which has introduced the world class facilities to millions across the globe, it has been the growth of the amateur competition in recent seasons that has been of great encouragement to all involved in cricket in the region.
Each season brings new advances and introductions to ADCC — the trial use of the pink ball at Zayed Stadium this year could lead to the first day/night Test match some time in the near future — and enables the club to improve its facilities, widen its appeal and work towards the common goal of providing everyone the opportunity of playing cricket.
