ICC Cricket Academy

The academy features two international standard cricket ovals with high quality turf pitches, in addition to extensive turf and artificial outdoor nets and excellent viewing facilities. The Academy’s adaptable indoor facilities will include indoor practice pitches, a specialist fielding zone, a state-of-the-art video analysis room, administrative and management offices with lecture and debrief facilities. There will also be medical rooms, a dedicated gymnasium, recovery area and changing rooms for the players. The ICC Academy is the world’s foremost Cricket Development, Performance and Education institute. Situated behind the International Cricket Council (ICC) headquarters at Dubai Sports City, the ICC Academy is a cricket facility like no other. Indoors, the facilities include; a state of the art, 6 lane indoor, air-conditioned cricket hall including full-length run ups, fielding area with integrated PitchVison and Hawkeye analysis equipment and software plus different playing surfaces, a fully equipped gymnasium, the ProBatter simulator and a range of bowling machines. Outside, 2 floodlit ICC accredited One Day International Turf Ovals each with wickets from Australia and Asia are complemented by an enormous floodlit practice are containing synthetic and hybrid practice wickets (15) plus 36 turf practice wickets from Australia, Asia and the UK.
