The Bangladesh pair of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan frustrated the Indian bowlers in the final session of play on day three of the Test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
Both remained unbeaten at the end of day’s play after crossing their half-centuries .
Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan had scored a fifty for the visitors, before getting dismissed for 82. He was involved in a 107-run partnership with Mushfiqur.
There was a lot of praise for the Bangladesh batsmen on Twitter, with former India opener Aakash Chopra impressed by the fact that the visitors are not going down without a fight.
On the other hand, VVS Laxman was impressed by the bowling of India fast bowler Umesh Yadav in the morning session.
Here, we look at the top tweets of the day:

Expected Bangladesh to be competitive....and that's how they played today. Might still lose the game but won't sink without a fight.

Always upsets me that Shakib doesn't get mentioned when talking about best all rounders in the world. It is always Stokes and Ashwin chat

Mushfiqur has played a captain's knock, full of responsibility. But Mehedi Hasan real surprise. Unfazed in crisis, plucky and resourceful

Rahim gets hit on the thumb frequently. Nasser Hussain was another one. Maybe as they stay low.

Tremendous tenacity from Bangladesh on day 3. They could still lose this match, but they certainly haven't crumbled. #IndvBan
