  • As much as Eden Hazard was one of the main culprits of Chelsea’s disastrous title defence last season, his revival has been key to Chelsea’s table-topping form in this term.

The Belgian has 10 goals in the Premier League this season, a remarkable turnaround after scoring only four times in the 2015/16 campaign.

Key to Hazard’s resurgence has been a renewed confidence among his home fans. As the stats show, Hazard leads the Premier League in home goals this season.

Hazard was among a host of Chelsea players who felt the Stamford Bridge faithful’s ire last season after Jose Mourinho’s dismissal, but he has regained the affection of the Chelsea fans with his goalscoring form at home.

If he, and Chelsea, avoid suffering an almighty slip-up over the next couple of months, Hazard will be collecting another Premier League winners’ medal in May, and possibly even another PFA Player of the Year award.
