Tough Mudder isn’t your run-of-the-mill endurance obstacle competition. Created by a British Harvard post-graduate and former corporate lawyer in 2010, the series provides a distinct opportunity for contestants keen on testing their limits in two categories.
Although highly prized, fitness and willpower are simply not enough to complete the course’s entirety due to the event’s underlying ethos – teamwork. Contestants must finish the challenge that lies ahead by putting their fellow teammates first – all whilst maintaining their cool and not falling victim to obstacles that include water, fire, electricity and heights.
