It’s not everyday an average Joe is given the opportunity of going toe-to-toe with a sporting legend at their own game.
Former tennis world no. 1 Mats Wilander may no longer be in his prime, but he will be leading the way in the 24-Hour Tennis Marathon in Dubai – which gives aficionados the chance to take to the court to face the three-time Roland Garros champion.
Returning after a successful debut, the tennis event will set out to better the Guinness World Record it broke a year ago, when 76 players from across the emirates endured rally after rally for a total of nine hours and 15 minutes of play.
The effort smashed the previous 72-player record established on Italian soil in 2012.
